The more you travel, the more you know! If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? What's holding you back? Experience the world you live in.

I travel quite a bit. Most of my trips prior to 2006 had been to major cities within the continental United States. I have relatives in Canada (Ontario and Toronto) thus have spent considerable time there as well as in the US Midwest and Phoenix, which I visit regularly. Living in the Southwestern United States for most of my life, the close proximity to Mexico has made it convenient to visit cities in Baja and Sonora, Mexico, and have traveled to Ensenada, Los Cabos, and San Carlos.

As for travel off the continent, I visted Brazil in 2002 and spent about a month there. In 2005 I went on a cruise with my family to the Eastern Carribbean and parts of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Summer 2006 I traveled to Germany to present my research at the ICA Conference in Dresden, and visited many major German cities to experience the World Cup. I also went to Israel with a Christian tour group, just before the war with Hezbolla escalated (we left during day 3, and had been in all the cities in the North a week before they were bombed).

In 2006-2007 I had the opportunity to study the Middle East, IN the Middle East. I lived in the Negev Desert, in the State of Israel, with frequent trips to Jerusalem and Arab villages in the West Bank. I traveled around Israel and Jordan, soaking in every minute of the diverse culture and am learning as much as possible about this part of the world.
